U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 08-4015
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Des Moines
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Benton, Circuit Judge, and
Piersol, District Judge]
Criminal case - Forfeiture. Government showed that the defendant's
real property had a substantial connection to his child pornography
offenses, and the court did not err in forfeiting the house and the property
on which it stood; court specifically found the forfeiture was
constitutional and not excessive, and no remand for further discussion of
proportionality issues was required.
