U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 09-1106
District of North Dakota - Bismarck
[PUBLISHED] [Gruender, Author, with Hansen and Riley, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - criminal law. Search warrant contained sufficiently detailed descriptions of the pornographic images defendant sent to permit an issuing judge to make an independent finding of probable cause to believe that child pornography would be found at defendant's home; the sixty-day extension of time the magistrate judge granted to permit examination of defendant's seized computers did not prejudice defendant and was justified in light of the complexity of computer searches.
