   defendant's conviction for conspiracy to distribute crack; government's
   question to a witness about whether he feared for his safety in testifying
   was improper, but the district court took prompt action to cure the
   prejudice and any error that survived the curative instruction was
   harmless in light of the evidence of guilt; Batson challenge rejected.
