U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 09-1422
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - Minneapolis
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Bye and Beam, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - employment discrimination. District court did nor err in
granting employer summary judgment on plaintiff's Americans with
Disability Act claims as plaintiff failed to show that any restrictions
resulting from his monocular vision or hepatitis C substantially limited
his major life activities; record does not support plaintiff's claim that he
was terminated because his employer regarded him as too disabled to
work; similar analysis applies to plaintiff's claims under the Minnesota
Human Rights Act, and the district court did not err in granting the
employer summary judgment on the claims; plaintiff failed to show the
employer retaliated against him for requesting accommodations.
