U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 09-1572
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - St. Paul
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Bye and Beam, Circuit Judges]
Criminal Case - conviction. District court did not err in denying motion for judgment of acquittal on charge of conspiracy to commit marriage fraud, as circumstantial evidence was sufficient to justify a reasonable jury's conclusion that defendant knowingly entered into a marriage for the purposes of evading immigration laws and he knowingly entered into an agreement for that purpose.
