U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 09-3263
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas - Jonesboro
[PUBLISHED] [Smith, Author, with Hansen, Circuit Judge, and
Webber, District Judge]
Civil case - Social Security. Ample evidence existed in the record to
support the ALJ's conclusion that claimant's restrictive pulmonary
disease was not an impairment matching a listing for chronic pulmonary
insufficiency; ALJ's conclusion that claimant had the residual functional
capacity to perform sedentary work with a fair ability to interact with
others in the workplace was supported by substantial evidence;
Vocational Expert adequately explained the inconsistency between his
testimony and the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, and his testimony
was an acceptable basis for the ALJ's decision.
