U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 10-3656
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri - Hannibal
[PUBLISHED] [Riley, Author, with Colloton and Gruender, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - civil rights. District court did not err in granting defendants'
motion for summary judgment on claim they failed to protect plaintiff
from harm while he was detained at the county jail as there was no
evidence the defendants were actually aware of any prior incidents of
violence with one of the inmates in plaintiff's protective pod or that they
had any knowledge of any specific danger he posed to plaintiff; plaintiff
failed to show defendants were deliberately indifferent to his medical need
for dental care.
