U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 10-6001
U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nebraska - Lincoln
[PUBLISHED] [Federman, Author, with Schermer and Venters,
Bankruptcy Judges]
Bankruptcy Appellate Panel. Bankruptcy court did not err in finding
that the bank's UCC statement did not sufficiently provide the name of
the debtor because it added superfluous information as to the debtor's
organizational name; nor did the court err in finding that the error made
the filing seriously misleading and unsearchable, thus disqualifying it for
protection under the safe harbor provisions of Article 9 of the UCC.
