U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 11-1214
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Davenport
[PUBLISHED] [Bye, Author, with Melloy, Circuit Judge, and Smith
Camp, District Judge]
Criminal case - Criminal law. Evidence was sufficient to support
defendant's conviction for exceeding authorized computer access and
obtaining information from a U.S. department; district court did not abuse
its discretion by denying defendant's request for funding for a computer
expert as defendant did not demonstrate a reasonable probability that the
expert would aid in her defense and that denial of the funding would result
in an unfair trial.
