U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 12-2622
U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska - Omaha
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Loken and Murphy, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - Criminal law and sentencing. Evidence was sufficient to
support defendant's conviction for being a felon in possession of a
firearm; district court did not err in finding defendant had been
convicted of two crimes of violence as possession of a short-barreled
shogun is a crime of violence under this court's decisions; no error in
imposing an enhancement under Guidelines Sec. 2K2.1(b)(6)(B) for
possession of the weapon in connection with another felony.
