U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 12-3809
and No: 12-3974
and No: 13-1129
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Davenport
[PUBLISHED] [Smith, Author, with Bye and Bright, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - Criminal law. Evidence was sufficient to support
defendants' convictions for conspiring to possess and distribute crack and
cocaine, as well as defendant Robinson's weapons convictions; the district
court did not err in denying defendants' request for a "buyer-seller"
instruction or defendant Randolph's request for a "multiple conspiracies"
instruction. Judge Bright, concurring in part (sufficiency of the
evidence) and dissenting in part (the "buyer-seller" instruction issue).
