U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 13-1016
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri - St. Louis
[PUBLISHED] [Melloy, Author, with Murphy and Shepherd, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - Criminal law and sentencing. Evidence was sufficient to
support defendant's convictions for receipt and possession of child
pornography; district court did not err in admitting evidence of online
conversations in which defendant discussed exchanging child pornography;
admission of disc containing images was proper; convictions for both
receipt and possession did not violate defendant's Fifth Amendment right
against double jeopardy as different facts and images supported each
conviction; sentence was not substantively unreasonable.
