U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 14-2210
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota - Minneapolis
[PUBLISHED] [Benton, Author, with Bye and Beam, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Freedom of Information Act. In responding to Madel's request
for oxycodone distribution data for certain companies the DEA withheld
five documents in their entirety claiming no reasonably segregable
non-exempt information; in reviewing Madel's objections to the DEA's
decision, the district court failed to make an express finding on
segregability, and the matter must be remanded for further proceedings.
