U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 16-1788
U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska - Omaha
[PUBLISHED] Riley, Author, with Beam and Shepherd, Circuit Judges]
Criminal case - Criminal law. Although the Northern Iowa magistrate judge
who issued the search warrant was not properly cross-designated to issue
warrants for property located in Nebraska, the warrant application
established probable cause and the search was conducted in the good faith
belief that the magistrate was properly cross-designated; as a result, the
district court did not err in denying the motion to suppress.
