U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 16-1900
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri - St. Louis
[PUBLISHED] [Murphy, Author, with Wollman and Melloy, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Insurance. Under Arkansas law, by failing to give Hartford
prompt notice that its employee had filed a tort action, plaintiff did not
strictly comply with the provisions of the insurance policy and forfeited
any right to recover from Hartford; Hartford had not unambiguously denied
coverage and plaintiff was not relieved of its duty to inform Hartford of
suit.
