U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 17-1737
U.S. District Court for the Western District of Arkansas - Fayetteville
[PUBLISHED] [Loken, Author, with Benton and Erickson, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Employment discrimination. The district court did not err in
granting defendant's motion for summary judgment because plaintiff failed
to file a charge of discrimination with the EEOC within 180 days of the
alleged ADA violation; nor did the court err in rejecting plaintiff's
claim of equitable estoppel based on an argument that defendant lulled him
into missing the deadline through settlement negotiations; plaintiff's
failure to file the claim was not the result of any misconduct by
defendant.
