U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 17-3055
U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Iowa - Des Moines
[PUBLISHED] [Loken, Author, with Erickson and Grasz, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Torts. The district court did not err in determining that
plaintiff was a dual employee of defendant, his mentor driver and trainer,
and the trucking company for which they both worked; as such, workers'
compensation benefits were plaintiff's exclusive remedy for the injury
suffered when defendant wrecked the truck in which they were riding.
