U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 17-3460
Petition for Review of an Order of the Board of Immigration Appeals
[PUBLISHED] [Kelly, Author, with Shepherd and Stras, Circuit Judges]
Petition for Review - Immigration. The agency did not err in determining
petitioner had not suffered past persecution as the harm he claimed to
have suffered in Cameroon did not rise to the level of persecution; nor
did the agency err in finding petitioner lacked a well-founded fear of
future persecution based on his political affiliation; as petitioner
failed to meet his burden of proof for asylum, he necessarily cannot meet
the more rigorous burdens for withholding of removal and CAT relief.
