U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 17-3618
U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota - Bismarck
[PUBLISHED] [Shepherd, Author, with Kelly and Stras, Circuit Judges] Civil case - Civil rights. In action alleging defendants' lease offer to plaintiff, a tenant at the Minot International Airport, was racially discriminatory, even assuming plaintiff could successfully state a prima face case of race discrimination, defendants offered legitimate, non-discriminatory grounds for the differences in the leases offered plaintiff and a white tenant, and plaintiff failed to present any evidence showing that an impermissible, discriminatory reason more likely motivated defendants.
