U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 18-1256
U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska - Omaha
[PUBLISHED] [Colloton, Author, with Smith, Chief Judge, and Erickson,
Circuit Judge]
Criminal case - Sentencing. The district court did not abuse its
discretion in imposing a period of supervised release when it revoked
defendant's supervision and sentenced him to prison, as the court had a
legitimate concern regarding defendant's possible recidivism and defendant
himself expressed reservations about his immediate release into the
community and his need for assistance in managing his reintegration.
