U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 20-1907
U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota
[PUBLISHED] [Benton, Author, with Loken and Colloton, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Employment discrimination. The district court did not err in
dismissing plaintiff's Title VI sex discrimination claim for failing to
state a claim to relief that is plausible on its fact as she did not
plausibly plead that the circumstances of her termination gave rise to an
inference of discrimination based on her gender; the district court did
not err in dismissing plaintiff's Title VII hostile work environment claim
for failure to state a claim as her allegations, while perhaps describing
vile or inappropriate behavior by athletic staff and coaches, did not rise
to the level of actionable hostile work environment as a matter of law.
