U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 20-2600
U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Iowa - Central
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with Loken and Stras, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Fair Labor Standards Act. Plaintiff's job assessing hog
loading conditions qualified as on-the-farm practices "incident to or in
conjunction with such farming operations," and the district court did not
err in finding he was exempt from coverage under the Act because he was an
employee employed in agriculture - see 29 U.S.C. Sec. 213(a)(6).
