U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 20-3132
Appeal from the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Eighth Circuit
[PUBLISHED] [Wollman, Author, with Colloton and Kobes, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Bankruptcy. The Bankruptcy Court did not err in determining
that Wrigley's debt to Lariat was excepted from discharge because the debt
was obtained by actual fraud; the landlord cap provided in Sec. 502(b)(6)
did not foreclose Lariat's argument that the claim should be excepted from
discharge under Sec. 523(a)(2)(A).
