U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 22-1449
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas - Northern
[PUBLISHED] [Gruender, Author, with Colloton and Wollman, Circuit Judges]
Civil case - Civil rights. Plaintiff alleged defendant Turner, a law
enforcement officer for Independence County, Arkansas, was deliberately
indifferent to her seizure condition after she was arrested for driving
while intoxicated. The district court denied Turner's motion for summary
judgment base on qualified immunity, and he appeals. Under the facts
presented, plaintiff failed to show that clearly established law
prohibited Turner's conduct, and he was entitled to qualified immunity.
