U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 98-3084
District of Minnesota
Civil case - bankruptcy. Bankruptcy court did not abuse its
discretion when it denied Lamson's motion for sanctions and
contempt remedies based on his claim that Russ has filed
inaccurate petitions and schedule; however, the court erred in
ordering Lamson to pay Russ's attorneys' fees in connection
with defending the action because Lamson's substantive claims
resulted in recovery of additional assets for the estate.
