992486P.pdf 03/31/2000 Troynell Thomas v. Michael Bowersox
U.S. Court of Appeals Case No: 99-2486
   Eastern District of Missouri
Prisoner case - habeas. Trial court's comments did not deprive Thomas of due process; counsel's failure to call Thomas's son was not ineffective assistance of counsel, as the post-conviction proceedings demonstrated the son's testimony was either highly implausible or dramatically impeachable; counsel's failure to challenge eyewitness testimony was not ineffective assistance as testimony had indicia of reliability.
